This applet allows you to draw pictures with your mouse on the canvas that will be displayed in the next window. Use the scrollbars below to select the colors you would like to use for the background and pen colors. Once you have selected your colors, click on the button below and the drawing applet will appear using the specified colors. You only need to click on the button the first time to open the second window. If you wish to change the colors after that, you may simply come back to this window and change the background and/or pen color. They will be automatically updated on the canvas when you switch focus back to the other window, The foreground color of anything you have drawn previously will be preserved when you change the pen color. For example, you could draw a yellow sun, a brown house, and a white cloud, with the color of each being preserved when you changed the pen color to draw the next item.
