* I was the only amateur in this class. There was a gate hold for several minutes, so our horses were getting tired when the last guy showed up.
** The judge commented to us on the line up that this was a nice class and we had good rides.
*** The judge told me as I was getting my trophy that I had a great ride.

* He did amazingly well in this class. I was up against a trainer. Apache was perfect and felt fantastic in both directions. On the line up, the judge mentioned that it was a pleasure to watch us. She also had us go 2 or 3 times around at every gait in both directions, even though there were only two of us in the class, so you knew she was having a hard time deciding.
** By the end of the show, he was very annoyed and upset and was misbehaving. He threw a wrong lead in the championshp, so I knew it was over then.
